Parenthood

Being a parent can be one of life’s greatest joys, but it is also one of life’s greatest stressors. I work with parents to manage their own emotional well-being in the context of parenting children of all ages. With each client, I work together with you to develop a parenting toolbox with resources that met the unique needs of you and your child.

Life Transitions

Heading to college. Graduating from college. Starting a new job. Leaving an old job. Falling in love. Breaking up. Getting married. Filing for divorce. Becoming a parent. Launching a child.

Life is full of transitions big and small, and each transition is an opportunity for old pains and unfinished business to resurface. Each transition is also an opportunity for growth, redemption, and hope. As I work with clients going through life transitions we process patterns and seek to identify each client’s unique heart and strength. You can use your internal resources to navigate your current transition and transitions to come.

Faith and Mental Health

For many, religious faith is the lens through which life is seen and experienced. Faith can be a comfort and sustaining hope. Faith can also be a source of struggle and conflict. I have extensive experience working with those for whom faith has a significant impact on their inner life and emotional well-being. As we work through the therapeutic process together, we can explore and utilize the impact and resource faith is to your mental health.
